My baby has a diaper rash. Now this isn't the first one I've dealt with. No cream, acidophilus, changing diaper often- is helping
It's all red n itchy n my heart goes out for her.
What now?

Two words: Triple Paste. You may need to get it from a pharmacist.

It was the ONLY thing that would work on my child's delicate skin, and she had multiple food allergies.

If it's a fungal infection, you may need Nystatin.

If all the normal / home solutions are not working, take her to the doctor.

It might be fungus but it may also be a food sensitivity/intolerance/allergy. What is she eating?

I trid a fungus cream
I was at doctor
She's not eating anything unusual
How does a yeast infection look? What's the cure?
Question is, what could be happening now that's different than all other times?
Do food allergies develop suddenly n w no other symptom?
It's two weeks now. When should I do something more drastic and what should that be? (Doctor cream not helping)
This triple paste- what is it made for? Rash?

Is she eating more fruit now that it's the summer? Strawberries give my kids a diaper rash. I would imagine the other summer fruit as well (if they would eat them).

Google yeast diaper rash for pictures of yeast rash specifically.

To tell if it is bacterial or fungal.

Also, if this has been a chronic problem, I would strongly recommend pulling dairy from her diet.

Start off with clean skin. Give her a bath and make sure she is clean. (Don't use much baby soap on the direct area, just let her soak in a bath. Use baking soda in the tub if she needs soothing relief and wash down the rest of her body with baby soap.)
Now smear clotrimazole cream lightly over raw areas. Top with heavy hand of triple paste. Seal it all in with pure cornstarch (like from your kitchen). Put her to bed and by morning it should start looking better.
Repeat the layers of cream and powder with every diaper change, but use the clotrimazole part only 3 times a day. And make sure she is getting a bath each night and layering her up because that is when the real healing happens.
Hugs! I know what this is like.

Clotrimazole is over the counter antifungal cream for yeast. It is the generic of over the counter Lotrimin cream. It is used for athletes foot.
This is my pediatrician's recipe.
