I know the second year is a big range, but to keep it simple:

When does your 1 YO (12 months-24 months) take their nap(s)? For how long do they sleep? What time do they wake up in the morning? What time do they go to sleep at night?

(DD16 months is having some nap problems. I want to hear answers about other babies before I elaborate and ask for suggestions.)

Goes to sleep sometime between 10-11PM and wakes up at around 9AM... And I'm lucky if she catches a 45 minute nap sometime in middle of the day. 12 months.

Goes to sleep at 7, wakes up between 5:30-6:30, naps for an hour or an hour and a half between 9-10 or 10-11, sometimes takes another short nap at 2 or 3.

20 months. Goes to sleep usually between 8 and 9 PM. Lately has been waking up at night to play, but otherwise sleeps through until around 8 AM. Naps from around 11:30 or 12 for about 1.5 to 2 hours.

Night 7ish - 6ish I'm not sure when he gets up in the morning since his sisters take him out to play before I wake up.
Nap, he usually goes to sleep before 10, and sleeps for up to three hours depending on th dap and his recent schedule.
Soon I will have to shorten it so he won't be staying up too late. With my kids, that usually happens a bit after their second b-day. He is 21 months.

OP here. Thank you for all the answers! I'm seeing quite a range. I'm also seeing from the poll that 11 AM is very popular for naptime.

Now for my (DD's) story. DD16 months goes to sleep at 6:30 PM. She wakes up usually around 6:45-7:00 AM. The problem is that her ganenet (aka babysitter) puts all the babies to sleep from around 11:00-12:30. DD comes home at 1:00 and for the first while she plays nicely, but then she starts to get VERY tired at around 2:30. The thing is that she can't fall asleep until it's at least 3:00. I usually just have her rest for a half an hour from around 2:30-3:00. But, from 4:00 pm until bedtime (6:30 pm), she is terribly cranky and tired.

I don't want to give her a nap at 3:00/3:30 pm b/c that will make bedtime very late. She needs to be at gan at 8:00 am, so a 7:00 am wakeup is perfect for her. I think she needs 12 hours of sleep at night. I also need my nights and don't want to be entertaining her until 8 pm. Basically, the schedule is great aside from the fact that she is so cranky.

Can she sleep an additional 1/2-1 hour longer by the mitapelet? It makes sense that she needs a longer nap at that age. Also it should be one, not two naps. A late afternoon nap totally throws the schedule.

Have you tried letting her go to bed at 4pm, just to see what happens? Is it possible she's not sleeping much at gan? If she's not really napping there, then she's not getting a nap at all, and she may need to go to bed early.

If she wakes up at 4 am, make a play safe area for her until you get to her at 530. (Unless she's a wild child in the morning.)

I've had (foster) kids (two sisters) who would fall asleep on the floor at 430pm if I didn't put them to bed by then. They'd sleep until 6am 530am, and not take naps.

Lymnok, I'm not sure it will work. Right now, I doubt she can fall asleep any earlier than 11. (I've seen on Shabbos, that even when she looks tired, she won't fall asleep until official nap time. Either way, all the babies at gan are pretty much on the same schedule, so they don't wake each other up. Really, the easier way would be to let her sleep longer, but since gan ends at 1, the ganenet makes sure all the babies are up by 12:30.

Chani8, I've never tried putting her to sleep at 4. I don't want her waking up so early. She sleeps in a crib and she's not the greatest independent player. I would probably get woken up pretty early.

Why don't you try putting her to bed just a drop earlier. Like at 6
Many times I end up putting my baby to sleep at 6 if he seems really tired and cranky.
