Wow you people will have me plugged in for the next 10 years, lol. Bookmarking this thread in case I need it again. Meanwhile I followed up on one of the first suggestions, Better off Ted, and it was just what the doctor ordered Very Happy It has some maybe PG-13 relationship moments but not too dirty for me and the language is clean.

So Better off Ted was amazingly funny but the risque level went way up after the first few episodes, just for the record. I kept watching anyway because I was enjoying it that much, but there seem to have only been 2 seasons. Terrible loss for the entertainment world, IMO, that was the best comedy I have seen in recent times.

I am having very little luck finding full episodes of the others mentioned here on youtube. The snippets I did see of I Love Lucy don't strike my funny bone, just not my style I guess, and Seinfeld clips seemed only ok though maybe it would be better in context.

I don't see an option to watch things for free on Hulu, when I go to hulu.com it right away asks for my CC info Confused

Any leads?

I think Better off Ted gave me my "fix" for now, it was what I needed and I'm pretty ready to move on from wasting time on the tube, but I still need a little humor and want to have the backup plan ready for when I do get desperate again.

Don't judge, my life is very depressing right now. So depressing that the people I often look to for support don't even want to talk to me anymore because it only depresses them. Too bad I can't un-see Better off Ted and appreciate watching it again... maybe in a year or so.

If you are navigating to Hulu on a PC when the page comes up it will be offering a free trial. Got to the top left of the page and click on the Hulu, that will by pass the free trial page. If you are attempting view Hulu on an iPad (and perhaps an iPhone) you will need to subscribe.

Did you ever watch The Big Bang Theory?

It's my favorite sitcom and gets me to laugh like no other sitcom can.

But the OP asked for clean shows. I would not call the big bang theory clean.

All these are pretty funny, very clean, and on youtube!

~Laverne and Shirley
~The andy grifith show
~The Jeffersons
~Different strokes
~The facts of life (starting from season 2 is best. First season isn't so good)

Someone mentioned 2 broke girls. I find that show really funny, but not clean at all!

2 broke girls is awful. Many of the jokes are incredibly crude and not even funny. if they would cut those out it would be a great show. ugh.

Not a sitcom per-say - but if you like corny humor Mr. Bean will have you crying laughter
And it's on YouTube

Here's a number of pretty good sitcoms I've watched, with varying degrees of 'clean' - probably mostly okay. If other people have ways to rate them by clean, pls chime in:

Arrested Development (really, really smart comedy)
My Name Is Earl (interesting premise)
Raising Hope (a lot of the same actors as my name is earl)
Suburgatory (it's from the eyes of a high school senior so it's not that risque but I can't promise you anything.)
Parks and Recreation (the first season is very hard to get through, then the rest is comedy genius.)
The Office (your mileage may vary, it's a dry comedy, you might not get the humor)
Community (lots of smart comedy)

Ill second that
Its like 2 and a half men. Crude humor the whole way through. (I dont watch either show. But I have seen a few episodes of those shows over the past couple of years)

I think New Girl on Fox is very funny. Modernized version of a sitcom (no canned laughter...). The humor in the show is right up my alley. Dont watch the show regularly, but enjoyed what I did watch.

New Girl isnt crude, but very very sxualized. Think of it as F.R.i.e.N.D.s, updated 2015 style.
