why is it taking so long? Are you giving each kid a separate bath? Most people stick in a few kids together, so it really doesn't take any longer doing more kids at once.

Yes, I give each kid a separate bath. They each deserve their own clean water.

Thank you! Thats exactly why each kid gets a separate bath. Just like the bigger ones get a separate shower.

If they bathe infrequently, then yes, yuck. But if they bathe often, I don't see the big deal. As for "deserving one's own water" -- I live in a country that must conserve water, so we try to not use it too lavishly. Baths consume a lot of water. The few time that the kids take bath (as opposed to showers), they share. Besides, they enjoy playing together!

If you deem it necessary to bathe them, it's to make them cleaner and fresher, no?

The only way I have kids play in the bath together is if I shower them individually first.

Sounds excessive to me. But whatever.

I don't usually do that. I usually just give each kid their own bath or shower.

I try to keep them on the same schedule especially when we need to use the electric dud (water heater)

As far as bathing together I really don't see the big deal, unless one child is awfully filthy. My kids look and smell perfectly clean after...
To each his own !
