Need shabbos/yom tov clothes for my 8month old boy. He has extremely chubby thighs and a poochy stomach so I'm finding that anything fitted in the legs, or tight around the waist isn't working for him (sweat pants are his best bet right now- but they're not so dressy, or cute really).
Also since he's not walking yet I feel like the cuteness of a lot of outfits just gets lost when the babies are only sitting, not standing. Do you have any suggestions of some dressier clothes for him? (I don't have a big budget so the less expensive the better- though not too cheaply made that it isn't worth buying). Thanks

Thanks again! |
I actually mean any sock store in Brooklyn, or monsey, or Lakewood, etc... The all sell the same things, basically. It's possible some of them have websites. Maybe double header, or legacy...

Suggestions needed please. I got my daughter (7 years old) a really pretty skirt that is forest green (http://www.enclosureguy.com/wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery/patio-enclosure-color-swatches-forest-green-04-enclosureguy.jpg this shade is pretty close). The shirt she will be wearing with it is the same color, with a few gray stripes on it. What color socks/tights would you pair the outfit with? Gray? Black? Some other color? Thanks for your help.

Ok, do people seriously buy multiple pairs of shoes for a 1 or 2 or even 4 year old to match different outfits???? They grow out of them so quickly and I don't like buying cheap shoes for kids. I get ONE pair of shoes plus maybe crocs for summer/tisha b'av. Maybe sneakers for older kids and girls might get a pair of shabbos shoes.

I posted this in the starting thread where Mommy3b2c suggested a navy cardigan but how will then the neck be closed? Or how will it layer over those short sleeves? Then amothers said shells. The color blue, mustard or ivory are not going that nice. I tried a marroon color, will this make it too casual? Here is the dress,

Thanks so much. I'm so bad at coordinating outfits etc. I usually stick with simple, basic outfits because of this (ie. black skirt plus any shirt worn with black socks, brown skirt with pink shirt... all easy to coordinate). This outfit looks really good on her but I didn't want to ruin the look by pairing with un-coordinating socks.

A maroon shell is not going to work.
