When will we just admit that these publications, like the rest of the media, is there to make as much money as they can??
They are in the business of entertaining.
They have no principles. Only a clientelle they aim to sell too.
Some publications are aimed at a crowd that wants a certain standard maintained. so they maintain it. otherwise it will go.
My grandmother remembers the days when a radio host was fired for using the word toilet instead of W.C.
Policies change when the people change.
Sadly the people who read these publications did not feel the same need to see Reb. Kanievsky when she was niftar.
Had they wanted it enough, the policy would have changed back then.
