Can't agree with FranticFrummie more. I don't have teen girls. I have teen and preteen boys. They so badly need us to be the adults in their lives. To set boundaries they can test for stability. To listen and listen until they actually talk.
Last night I also had a disaster. Like you said non stop. Bothering everyone on the way. And It was all very funny and no harm intended..! I ended up at some point in the evening with a major headache and I just totally lost it and absolutely yelled No screamed for him to get upstairs and not come down for the next hour I don't want to see him. I felt horrendous. He was surprised to move. But night settled and at least we hadn't had a power wrestle... We all have these days. And a tomorrow to try again. Hugs op
