Looking for a name with a similar meaning of thanking Hashem, constant gratitude. Strongly prefer names from tanach or other traditional names.

Yehudis. You can even call her "Hudi" for a cute nickname that really gets the message across.

Less traditional - like Twinster said, Hodaya -- or Chasdaya.

Yehudit.

Hodayah and Tehillah (I have one of each) are the most stunning names in my opinion. Hodayah is gratitude to Hashem, Tehillah is different - praise.

Thanks for the suggestions! I really like Eliana and Yehudis. Is Yehudis the feminine version of Yehuda? Or is it a separate name, and if so, is it also from tanach? (pardon my ignorance)

What are the origins of the name Eliana? Is it a much newer name, or has it been around a while?

Yehudis is not the female of Yehudah.
But it is very biblical. See
http://www.chabad.org/library/.....s.htm
and
http://www.aish.com/h/c/t/sg/C......html

Is Eliana the female Elan? Like a tree? Not sure...

No, Elana is the feminine of Elan.
Eliana means God answered

With our first, we were planning to name a boy Yehuda for this reason. We thought about using Leah for a girl (she named Yehuda, was the first person to publically thank Hashem)... but then we remembered that my middle name is Leah Smile We went with Tehila in the end.

According to Aish.com,

Yehudit
Yehudit means "praise" (Genesis 26:34, 29:35), and is the female version of Yehudah. Yehudit appears as a hero of the Chanukah story who bravely killed the enemy general. (variation: Judith)

A bit nitpicking I know, but Hodaya means "Thanks", not "Thanks to Hashem", in my opinion.
The 'ya' at the end turns the word from a verb to the noun form.
just like words such as aliya, chanaya, shtiya.
On wedding invitations as such like people write -
be-shevach ve-hodaya la-Hashem => Hodaya means Thanks.
Have a DD called Hodaya. Wonderful name. Popular in Israel - getting a bit too popular.

Youre right. Yehuda technically doesn't have the "to Hashem" part either, it follow later in the passuk.
