I dont even get a break when I go. When I say Im going to the bathroom my just about 2 year old says "Im gonna sit by the door and call you" and does just that until I come out!

When I walk into the bathroom, they bang on the door "I needa make!"
They are 2, and 3. At wits end

And I thought this thread was about toilet training, and giving your kid treats/goodies while sitting on the toilet.
(esp. as this is in parenting section. should have rather been in emotional health section.)

Why on earth did I get 2 hugs for making a suggestion not to read about G-d in the bathroom? This site just makes me crazy sometimes.

You probably got hugs for a) taking this so seriously and b) giving spiritual admonishment to a mom who is at the end of her rope. She's sitting on a toilet eating ice cream! Not the moment to be pedantic! Confused

Get used to it. People are very mushy here. They do a lot of hugging!!!

I hugged your post, just because I could. Tongue Out

OP, this is why you stick the kids in the pack n'play, while you go to another room for a few minutes. If you're worried about them causing mayhem, sync your phone up with a nanny cam to make sure they don't wreck the house.

"Mommy is tired. Mommy needs a time out!" Ice cream Cheers ChillPill Study

Whatever works!

yeah I love ice cream & peace as much as the rest of you ... but anything more than water probably would not go down without coming back up ...

gosharuni ~ why can't you find a different room & put a lock on the door - even a closet
