Not with a toddler that wakes you up at 7...

Hmmm....I can easily stay up until 3 reading a good book, and my alarm goes off at 5 a.m. every morning. (TBH, I often snooze it once or twice, but by 5:20 or so, I am on my feet.)

(Is 7 a.m. considered early in the US? In my country, toddler or no toddler, people are up and heading out to work by then.)

Yes, 7 am is early. For many people, it's wake up time. Or even 7:30.

The people who read magazines back to front...are you lefties? I'm a lefty, and I see a disproportionate number of lefties who read this way.

Ha, yes I'm a lefty! Opening magazines the opposite way. Same with yiddish reading material, opening from left side.

I talk out loud to my dog, and to all the stray cats in the neighborhood. I also occasionally talk to bugs. I can convince a bee to leave my house, just by talking to it. (Flies do not listen to me!)

I am an older woman, I live alone, and I have an herb garden.

If I lived in the middle ages, I'd probably be burned as a witch.

I read the back of magazines first because all the stories/serials are there! Best part! And then I love to read the letters to the editor it’s so interesting following the conversation.

The weird thing I do is read YA books. I’m a big reader (novels), but I really don’t like the appropriateness level in adult books if that makes sense. So the books I read have main characters that are teens:) just finished reading a bunch about modern day royalty!

Me too! Book recs?

7:00 am is a normal time to wake up. It’s definitely not early. A toddler waking up at 7:00 is to the later side.

Nope! I’m a righty and I read magazines backwards too! All the best articles are always at the end- like the fiction short stories, serial stories, and humor column. I can always read the divrei Torah and news articles another time...

My favorite YA book is Heaven Looks a Lot Like the Mall.
I like school stories and real live things that can happen to real live people. I don't like fantasy. What does Brandon Mull write?

Maybe in your house... in my house, 7 is the absolute earliest anyone might even think of getting up and that's only when absolutely necessary. Anything earlier is still the middle of the night!
