There tens of millions of people in the US who have not gotten COVID, many of whom are individuals or close contacts of individuals who should not play Russian roulette with covid.

I'm vaccinated and got covid. The rest of my family including young children who are unvaccinated didn't catch it, despite me not taking any precautions.

I still don’t know what we are talking about! Are you talking omricon? Because if so in many places those numbers are way way way down. I work in the covid floor of major NYC childrens Hospital. The numbers we were seeing around a month ago were wild! Tons and tons of infants coming in with covid. And flu. Or both. But BH the models you’re seeing (if you read or watch news) are absolutely being seen in real time. The numbers are dropping significantly.

So to answer you question, my baby is mostly around vaccinated, masked people. All daycare providers are masked and vaccinated. Everyone in shul, subway, stores etc are masked all the time
Too. So we are doing the same as we did a year ago during his infancy.

Yet. They started the trials so any day now.

Trials for the under 5 are stalling across the country because they can't find volunteers.

I hope you’re right that we’ll get vaccines soon. It originally looked like we would already have them by now, but the Pfizer data came back with low efficacy so now they’re delayed. I don’t think they’re coming “any day now” but I’d love to be proven wrong. There are a lot of us that our looking forward to having them available.

You just admitted that Pfizer has shown their vaccine has low efficscy in young children. So why on earth do you want to give it to your kids? Do you get some kind of Pro-Vaxx medal of honor for that?
