The Facebook post embedded in missknowitalls post has screenshots of the law enforcement posts. In the first mugshot from May you can see a sleeve tattoo on his forearm and in the second on you can see a tattoo at the collar of his shirt, it’s on his chest.

its nothing to do with the payos
or the confusion with pronouncing words or not sure what nusach/ chassidus they are
a lot of bal teshuvas are like that,
- they take many years to find their path and the level of judaism which works for them

so I am VERY open minded and not snobby in my approach to them

but what REALLY gave things away was the fact you never saw them daven put on tefilin
it was all literally about food and dancing (many of the videos to kol isha)!

in one of hayim nissim`s videos entitled `just do you` he mentions about short sleeves
for some reason he thought it was for men also tzniyus to not wear short sleeves

shmariyahu too every tiktok video he made he would say things like `hassidic jew.. coming through..` like which chassid needs to keep reminding people that they are a chassid - I called phoney on him (despite what hes gone through and his bravery by reaching out about the abuse - I could tell from a mile off he wasnt a chassid, he probably hadnt learn a drop of chumash or mishnah

even their chanukah decorations looked like a non jewish winter celebration decorations
