Nelly Bly Amusement Park, we went early (12:30) and it really wasn't bad.
Slowly filled up and when we left at 3 it was already pretty crazy.
My kids barely had to wait on line.

Went to cojo free rides in ave M. Flatbush.
We arrived around 12:15 to throngs of people!!!!!! The rides were amazing and great program but it was wayyyyyy to many people. Each line was soooo long. Also music was sooo loud it was scratchy. All my kids said let’s go home. So we went back to the car and went to chucky cheese. They had a great time! Was busy but not too busy. Just perfect.

Went to Barnes and Noble and had fun browsing through all the toys and games. Chose a game and a puzzle to buy. Nice nature walk, then went home and played the game and did the puzzle. No crowds. Very Happy Relaxing and fun for everyone except the one teen who currently hates everything.

I'm so inspired that you did this. Do you have a relationship with him? Just wondering because we don't have anyone of that caliber that we would feel comfortable going to visit, but I wish we did!

Diggerland was pretty quiet. There were some lines but nothing major. Lots of room to walk around. Was able to do the whole park.

My husband received a bracha from reb dovid years ago, and it changed our lives and gave us a sense of direction. No need for a kesher, reb Reuven is incredibly warm and insightful even to strangers like us.

We went to the BP one yesterday and packed is not the word! We did 2 bouncy houses, played in the park, then waited in line for a ride for a half hour until we just called it quits and headed to krm to buy ices lol

Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ.
There are thousands of cherry blossoms in full bloom. Great weather.
It was insanely crowded for the non-Jewish holiday. Also lots of Asians - I guess it's especially meaningful to the people who grew up with cherry blossoms in Asia.
Only a few frum families were there.

Thanks for posting. Went today & it was beautiful.

[This is regarding Branch Brook Park]
Other than that, it's a regular park- grass, trees, water, playground, etc

Had opposite experience
Rented house upstate NY, deep in the Catskills
Most restful sleep in a very long time, air and water amazing
But we were promised a minyan and were the only family here

Went hiking today alone

Thank you. I'd love to go, but have teen boys, so without other activities, not for us- but I saw there's something similar in Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, so I think it's going to be a trip just for me after Pesach : ) thank you for posting!
