I believe Efrat was a name for Miriam.

Yes, in Divrei Hayamim it says that after Calev’s first wife died, he took “Efrat” as a wife and they had Chur.

We know that Chur was Moshe and Aharon’s nephew, so Efrat must be Miriam

Atara (עֲטָרָ֑ה) is another name from Divrei Hayamim, the wife of Yerachmeel, one of Yehuda’s descendants.

Avital, Avigayil and Chagit were all wives of David HaMelech (also Batsheva, Michal, Maacha, Achinoam and Eglah… some names get put in the regular circulation and some just don’t!)

Batya. I think in the text she’s only referred to as bas Paro.

In Divrei Hayamim (I’m on a roll looking stuff up right now 😅), we get her name:

וְאֵ֗לֶּה בְּנֵי֙ בִּתְיָ֣ה בַת־פַּרְעֹ֔

(Divrei Hayamim I, 4:18)

I’m looking specifically for names of People that are based in tanach but not explicit, but has to be based on a person, not a thing/concept.

In Divrei Hayamim, Miriam is called Efrat (beautiful name, in my opinion).

Other less commonly used biblical girls' names:

Michal
Merav
Avishag
Yehosheva
Serach
Bosmat
Bat-Tzion
Ruchama

It's possible there's were multiple adinas. Just like there's multiple now with the same name.

It’s straight out in the passuk, but still an uncommon name: Yemima (יְמִימָה) is one of Iyov’s three daughters.

What, no Keren Happuch or Ketzia?

Keren is nice, although if anyone has seen Poldark, they might find the name less lovely

Shifra ( an Jewish Egyptian Midwife and probably Moshe's mother Yocheved) and another vote for Hadassah-Esther (Shiffy and Dassi are also cute nicknames). Also Yehudit/Yehudis (Hudi is a great nickhame). She killed Holofernes who was an Assyrian general in the enemy camp of Nebuchadnezzar.

Op notice many of these names ARE indeed mentioned in Tanach.
If you're specifically looking for one that isn't, double check.

The Chanukah story is not in Tanach, though. The source of the name Yehudis in Tanach is from Esav's wife 🙈

Just gonna put this here, my uncle had a list of uncommon boys names from Tanach & was told by a Gadol that the names K'lal Yisroel uses or not have reasons so don't pick unused ones.

I know there's a connection to Rochel and Leah (maybe their mother, takeh?) but I don't know for sure.
And it's not a secondary name, just a name of an obscure person from Tanach. I don't see it in Ishei HaTanach.
