Anyone know if the transfer has to be initiated from the outside account?
Or if the transfer is initiated from the new Capital One account, does that count?

It only counts if it is initiated from the outside account.

Any other bonuses like this one? It was great that this one was tried and true cuz many of the offers out there require direct deposit with no work-around...must be from a payroll or something like that. If you hear of any other ones like this...can you please post?

Has anyone used their Bank of America checking account to transfer money with to the capital one account? I hadn’t received my bonus after transferring from a Bank of America checking account and called them and they said that it needs to be a direct deposit and that my transfer didn’t qualify. I don’t have a Chase account to try it from like most seemed to have done. Any other suggestions?

Looks like it has to be done via phone call. Call the number for 360 online accounts.
