I like Chaim Lev. I know a Chaim Dovid who is a very nice person. I also like Simcha Chaim.

DH is Yosef Chaim, goes by both names. We are ashkenazi.
Not understanding this 'alot of energy'
I've maybe heard him shout 2-3 times since we got married nearly 8 yrs ago and they were for good reasons. (mil always said he was a calm good kid)
very gentle friendly but knows to stand up for himself when he or I need (even to his mother who he loves, if she wrongs me. But in a respectful way)

My son is Yosef Chaim and he’s full of life/energy! As are all the yosef chaims that I know.
Also know a yosef chai and he’s also very active.
May they use their kochos for good things.
It is very tiring to be his mother in the meantime!!

It’s known as being a strong name.
Look around for other yosef Chaim’s and ask the mothers.
Just like shmuel is a name often associated with trouble makers.
Is it always? No. But lots of shmuli’s are full of life kids.
