I'm actually not terribly surprised.
My niece is there this year. She's described an enormous amount of sheer boredom. Very dry, dull classes, little effort to provide extracurriculars or touring opportunities (Within reason of course, considering the war. Compared to her friends from other seminaries who have done lots of trips, even if they're all in the merkaz.)

Not what I heard at all, but my daughter only spoke to girls close to application time, not as recently maybe?
My older daughter went there the year before and loved it.
