What not?

Besides for bread, breakfast is pretty much the same as all your round.

theres no thickening agent like corn starch so it tastes weird and fake. I thought its a well known universal thing that pesach yogurts are gross!

They're definitely more watery but not gross, BH my kids still like the fromage frais ones.

They like chocolate milk which reminds me I need to add it to the list. But they usually put it in the microwave so I'm not sure if they'll have it.

We eat gebrokst, so we have more options. My MIL always makes some kind of muffin from a mix. DH found a recipe that works just as well, so we make a ton of muffins and eat them with cream cheese and jam. Another favorite breakfast is matza cereal with chocolate milk.

The yogurt is sugary. They only get it for pesach. I don't have time to make eggs on weekdays. Farmer's cheese they eat sometimes, but get tired of it quickly.

Pesach yogurt for sure tastes different! The texture is also different. Even greek. I eat it anyway but I totally get it if my kids wont.

On the trip is usually just potato chips, chocolate and cut up fruit. Maybe some lady fingers.
Then we come home for supper that I prep and put in oven on delay start so should be ready and fresh about when we get home usuallyabout 4-5.

What types of things do you make for dinner on delay start? Sounds like a great idea!

Matzah with cream cheese and jelly, matzah with sliced cheese, yogurt, and/or fruit. Maybe a brownie and milk and fruit one morning for a treat.

I make matzah Brie usually one chol hamoed morning (the sweet kind).

You could do crepes. I’m just not a morning person so that’s not for me to do all that work so early….

We also do cereal during the year. Milk has protein. My kids have cereal and milk and fruit for breakfast during the year and have survived just fine so far in life. They get plenty of protein with their snacks and meals during the rest of the day. Smile

I grew up eating all these kinds of stuff. My mom in law makes a soup which is on the stove all morning for whenever anyone is hungry. It's basically sautéed Onions, carrots, squash and potatoes with some butter and milk. It's delicious and filling and a healthy option....
