Putting primer on the corner of the eyelid helps a little for wings, but mine don’t last well either.

You can use it as a primer, mixed with powder eyeshadow to create a long lasting liquid/cream, mixed with liquids and creams to make them longer lasting (YMMV depending on the product, but it doesn't have to be an eye makeup product) and if cream products dry out, it can bring them back. But I think it's best not to dip the brush with the sealer directly in a powder eyeshadow because it can harden it. Unless you have a specific single eyeshadow that you'll only use with the sealer.
