My husband recieved his smicha tonight!!

I wonder too. He has been on a high since he recieved his smicha. His whole kollel started out learning for their smicha and non of them had the patience just my husband and two other guys. Thursday night they ended up getting their smicha so it is a big thing for him. I would love for him to start something new but that is really up to him. THe newness of it all has really changed him and I am happy since he doesn't usually have a good self esteem.

Well it's wonderful that he got so far and now it's partially up to you, his eishes chayil, to keep him on track and encourage him to go for the next step in smicha. This is only one section, he should now start on Niddah, right? It's such a beautiful thing and you must give him the encouragement to go on!

After 3.5yrs of hard work, DH received his smicha this evening. It was a beautiful, moving ceremony attended by so many people. I must say I am very very proud of him and his achievement.

PS. No, my s/n will not be Rebetzen Bissli...
