Any oven-baked sesame chicken recipes out there? Some nights I just can't deal with washing pots and pans Smile

What kind of sesame chicken? chicken on the bone or like from a chinese place with chicken nuggets?

More like the Chinese nuggets. Obviously, it won't be fried, so it won't taste that way, but I am hoping for a recipe that still has that sweet, sticky glaze on top.

this is really really yummy. I make it a lot for shabbos. I make it with cutlets but the sauce can easily be used for 8 chicken quarters also.

mix cornflake crumbs with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Clean and dry 2 1/2 lbs chicken cutlets.
Cut into nugget sizes.
Dip chicken in egg and then the cornflake crumbs.
Bake in a grease baking pan at 370 for about 25 minutes or until done.

mix:
1 cup duck sauce
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sesame seeds

Pour on top of chicken and reheat until heated through.

Serve.

uncovered.

If I leave it in the oven Friday night (with the oven off but hot) I cover it so it shouldn't dry out - sometimes it still does.

I made this last night for dinner, it was quick, easy and delicious...thanks! I just cut down a little on the soy sauce, since I rather it sweet than salty.

Sky, thanks for this great, creative recipe! Family enjoyed the dish, and I loved the fact that all I needed was the oven.

I tried Sky's recipe, the most ez & delicious thing ever created. To top it off, I was the BEST wife, my husband LUVS sesame chicken..

I'm glad everyone likes it.

I've never made it this way but the original recipe says that you can bread the 8 chicken quarters . Place into a 16x10 baking pan and cover. Bake at 400 for 1 1/2 - 2 hours depending on th size of the chicken.

Then Pour the sauce over the chicken and heat through.

shouldn't I bake this covered so should be more soft and cooked thru then uncover later?
