What's the best brand of parve ice cream? Do they all taste like whip and refuse to melt?

I like the healthy ones - such as Soydelicious. The not healthy pareve ice creams are, in my estimation, disgusting. I can't force myself to eat them. Their ingredient list is none-too-inspiring either.

DH likes the Whole Foods Peach very much. Sharon's Sorbet are also popular.

But just want to add, some of them taste TOO healthy. Some rice ice creams (don't remember the brand) are hardly sweet at all and are not soft either. That's why I prefer the soy.

Not sure if it's widely available, but I recommend Swedish Glace. I'm usually not a big fan of parve icecream but both vanilla and chocolate are very good both taste-and consistency-wise. They also have good flavours like caramel, strawberry, (saw blueberry haven't tried them).

Otherwise I'll stick to sorbet.

The worse parve icecream is pesachdik ones--palm kernel oil and sugar frozen with chemicals.

Purely Decadent. It's made with coconut milk and it's delicious! You can find it at Whole Foods.

Yes Yes Yes

Yes!!! The coconut milk gives it a smooth and light creamy consistancy.

I can't stand the Soy Delicious or the Tofutti.

Trader Joe's has a delicious ice cream in 2 flavors: Chocolate Cherry (with real chunks of real cherries) and Mango Vanilla. And Shanon's Sorbet is divine.

I am wary of imitation food, so this is a vote I take verrry seriously.
