I think it is a lot of worry about something so insignificant on a chat board. Yes, if a person is writing a paper for school, or producing something for their job, edit, edit, edit. But this is just to chat, share, connect. Spelling and grammar aren't a sign of anything except either poor skills in those areas are too fast typing.

I am a teacher but I am a hidous typist. Sometimes I just add a reply and exttend apologies to people who hate typos.
