hi anybody has idea of a good dessert for after the meal? not to heavy ? having guest for shabbos need some ideas thank you.

fruit salad . My favorite. if I want it to be more intersting, I add chinese pecans and craizins just before serving.

Cherries. If you want to dress it up, with chocolates.
If you have to actually make something, sorbets, ice cream, cobblers.

I second the fruit salad. I would say compote, but most people don't consider that a "good" dessert.

Fruit Pie or tart. Or custard fruit tart.

take a graham cracker crust and layer with sorbet and pareve ice cream
you have to soften the ice cream or sorbet first in order to spread
easy and yummy!

lately im loving lemon curd
I serve it in a glass with berries or if u want it more substantial you can add pound cake as well - kinda like an individual trifle
or mix it with whip and call it lemon mousse
yum everyone whos had it loves it and if u do the trifle thing it look impressive as well
