I make the meat tzimmes recipe in the purple Spice and Spirit cookbook. It is amazing!!! We actually eat it as our main course for R.H. and Pesach.
I leave out the prunes b/c my DH doesn't like sweet foods.
Let me know if you don't have that cookbook and I'll bli neder try to post the recipe.

1 Can Pineapple Tidbits
1 Can Cut Carrots
Saute in oil
Add Orange Juice and honey..Keep stirring .
EZ and delicious

Tzimmus does not freeze well, does anyone have a Tzimmus recipe that can be frozen, I always find that the carrots go funny.

I grate the carrots and then saute in a bit of oil and honey until it's soft. You can add raisins if you like. Simple and delicious.
