Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, I wasn't around imamother then and haven't checked out the recipes.
Whip free ganache:
3 cups of powdered sugar
9 tablespoons each of oil, cocoa, and creamer (rice, soy milk, etc.)
Generously covers 9 x 13. Probably two thirds the recipe should be ample.

BTW, while the ganache is a nice addition, it isn't necessary...

Do you have to whip the whip?

Use one for a 9x13 pan. If it's for a square, I would imagine you would use 2.
(Hi Shoy! ) |
I'm assuming you flipped it by mistake-
Wouldn't one use TWO duncan heinz brownie mixes for a 9x13....... and one mix if making a 9 inch square pan recipe?

What I meant is that if you are using a mix that says it's for a 9x13 pan, and you want to divide it into 2 square pans, you would use 2 pans. Some of the mixes are for 8x8 pans, others are for 9x13. Read the package.

OK, I have what I think is the right amount of choc. chip cookie dough. I'll make my regular brownie recipe (understanding that you call for doubling the recipe because most call for a smaller square pan). Can't see why it shouldn't be scrumptious, it's been years since I passed the "uh oh I burned the boiling water" stage.

The $64 question! I baked them at 350 for about 25 minutes. They came out wonderfully! I didn't bother with the ganache.

I'm so glad you posted that. I'm hear now looking for another dessert and with a batch of chocolate cookie batter in my freezer too. The only thing was I'm not up to making a ganache and having more things in the fridge and was reading through wondering if that would be good and here you kindly posted exactly that back in August.
