My 15 year old dd refuses to try to swallow any pills. It is ridiculous. Do you know how many bottles of antibiotics I had to get last time she needed them?!
Any suggestions as to how to help her learn to swallow a pill??

My 9 year old just learned! A few methods that worked: Tell him to place it on the tip of his tongue, NOT the back because that induces the gag reflex. Next, drink rapidly without stopping, from a straw. The sucking/swallowing motion will accidentally make the pill go down, even if he very toughly tries to stop it. And finally, practice with teeny bits of candy, not with a big pill to start.

you need to go to your local health food store, and try them all! Sorry... If possible, take from a friend for your child to taste. I did that with 3 different brands OMEGA, all of which my kids refused.
