I need simple lunch ideas. Its just me and dh and he comes home for lunch (sometimes). we dont always want to wash so sandwhiches are not a great option for us but we dont need a big heavy meal around this tiem. ideas?
also we live in Israel which sometimes makes a difference in meal options.

Breakfast food (eggs, pancakes, quiche)
Couscous (parve with veggies (and tofu) or meat with chicken)
Soup (once the weather turns a bit more)
Leftovers from the night before.

my dh works from home, and has lots of chummus and crackers. when I'm around I'll add cut up cucs, tomatoes, peppers, and have cheese with zatar on crackers. we also like tuna, leftover pasta and veggies (I make a lot of stir fry, which is easy to warm up in the microwave), and lately at home, I've made eggs a lot. I saute onions first and add the eggs for an omelet. for the first few days after shabbas we usually have a lot of extra sides like cucumber salad, roasted veggies, potatoes/kugel, but they're so easy to make if you made them once early in the week, you'd have lunch for a few days with those too.

yummy if you are into this type of thing- I mix flavored yogurt and cottage cheese with a sliced banana and something crunchy, like sliced almonds or sunflower seeds- it's quick, easy and really good, and keeps you full for a while.
