Refuah Shleima. May it go well. I hope that you are having laparoscopy it's the easiest way. But afterwards please take it easy for a week at least until you go back to the doctor, they don't tell you a lot of things afterwards and this is one of them. Also if you have itching on the port sites it may be because of an allergy to the glue on the bandaids, I have that. Then call the doctor and ask if you can change them or take them off.
Finally, after having a gall bladder out many people have trouble digesting fats. So please be careful and go on a low fat (healthy) diet even if you are thin, and sometimes people need a supplement called lipase which you can find in any health food store, and most of all again, refuah shleima!
