Wondering (before everyone gets really too busy to answer) what your family usually eat Erev Pesach for lunch. And what/when do you feed the kids before the seder?

Yogurt. Cheese. Mashed potatoes (with butter!). My kids are still little so I would also give them (outside) rice crackers w/ chummus (kitniyot, not chametz). Fruit & veggies. Shehakol muffins.

We follow my mother-in-law's plan- microwave baked potato with toppings like cottage cheese, scallions, shredded cheese. We usually make a potato starch brownie recipe to have around for snacking in the afternoon.
For little kids, I pull out some chicken that is cooked for the seder meal and they have that before candle lighting. Now my kids are old enough to wait, but my nephew always walks into the house starving, so we continue the tradition for him.

I have a kosher l'Pesach crockpot. I was thinking about making meat and potatoes in the crockpot and then have that for a late lunch. Does anyone know how to make meat and potatoes in the crockpot?

Around lunchtime: egg lukshen crepes, hardboiled eggs, cooked potatoes, salads, cookies, cakes (stuff that I will be cooking at the time anyway, or that is hopefully already cooked from the day before)
Later on before Yom Tov: cranberry meatballs in crockpot, quinoa, salad

We have a traditional dutch dish:
Mashed potatoes with cut op mangold mixed in. When we can get a hold of it, we eat it with dutch smoked sausage. But if we don't have it, we eat it with some kind of cut up meat and gravy

Alei selek.
At least that's what we use here in EY. In Holland we used to use some other type of leaf.

I can't remember the exact recipe, but it's something like this (from the Aish book):
Boil potatoes and drain.
Add: milk, cottage cheese, chopped tomatoes, chopped onions, grated hard cheese, chopped parsley, salt and pepper and cook over a low flame.
It tastes great, and is filling and pretty healthy.
Wow, all you people eating meat before YT even starts...
