I have a bumper and my baby likes to sleep with his head on inp against it, I dont think that shield thing is to padded when the kid is lieing down. Just my two cents

why do u need a bumper?
in england they say u shudnt use bumpers cos theres a danger of suffocation.

I use a bumper solely because my babies seem to get their arms stuck out between the bars of the crib without it. The crib shield seems like it would work the same, without the suffocation risk.
Also, from the picture it seems like it would be easier to change the sheets with the crib shield - the bumper always gets in the way.

I use the breathable bumper precisely becauwe my baby squishes his head up against the crib rail and im terrified of suffocation ch'v.

any suggestions on a good crib to buy? like around 600 dollars? I am a first time parrent and have no clue where to even start .
