I would like to advertise something and reach a nationwide (and pref a worldwide audience) this item is geared to women it may be geared to men at some point too. I don't know why I have this thing that binah is only for brooklyn pple? am I just mistaken? Please let me know which you think is better and why so I do not end up throwing away advertsing money

I personally don't like binah, and I know others who feel this way. isnt binah only for women? if you want a wider audience, mishpacha has for everyone. Every time I pick up a binah to read I literally don't find even one article that interests me...

I also vote for Mishpacha. Larger readership.

in the mishpacha in order to reach a larger audience I should not advertise in the family only in the main magazine?

I would assume many women also read the main section, but obviously that most men don't read family first.

I find family first best for women, also I find that men tend to read it ''very by the way'' too!!!
so you basically would have your advertisment reaching more people that way.
for sure not binah!!! a lot of places in europe don't sell them.

It really depends on which crowd you're trying to attract. I find that the more 'chasidish' women will gravitate towards binah more than mishpacha.

from a family member who advertised in both, he feels that to attract men you want Mishpacha but if it's a product that women are the ones who make the purchasing decision, you get a better response in Binah. Although the numbers in Binah may be less (since they target only one gender), it is read by more women than Mishpacha is.
