my 10 month old all of a sudden started having really bad smelling breath. he doesnt eat any smelly foods like tuna or garlic and no formula. is this normal?

he has only two little bottom teeth. it's been going on for a couple of days already. I dont think sometnihg I ate should smell for so long. or could it?

Does he seemed "shtupped" in his nose/ears? Breathing through his mouth?

Brush his teeth and gums with infant toothpaste.

I know of a baby with a similar story.... ended up having pieces of plastic stuffed in his nose...... check it out

You should visit the pediatrician. I was told by our pediatrician that bad breath can come from several sources: dental, sinus and gastro (digestive system).

Some kids have bad breath when they are getting sick. another thing may be reflux, bad breath is one of the signs.

It could also be the pacifier that needs to be replaced.

Bad breath in babies can be a sign of gastric issues.
Is the baby underweight? Have any feeding issues?
If so, it would be wise to see a pediatric gastroenterologist as soon as you can.
