Mine is six weeks old and has done this since birth. I'm waiting to hear a response too...

I finally gave him a bottle of pumped milk, and he choked on that too, so it's not overactive letdown, like people suggested. (Talk to a lactation consultant - that's what it might be for you.)

my three week old does that too. it makes me so nervous. and it wakes him up when hes falling asleep. I found that if he is laying not totally flat then its not as bad. if you figure out what it is and what to do I would also love to know

op here genie is actually a friend of mine and has helped me with feeding issues with my other kids I
