I'm using Mishie's recipe for dinner tonight, but I thought I'd post this question as its own thread because I didn't receive a response on that one. It's chicken, cooked in a pot, with red wine and vegetables. The water is supposed to cover 3/4 of the vegetables, and it's supposed to cook "until chicken and veggies are soft." How long is that, approx? I want to put it on the stove so that it's finished by the time dh comes home, but I'm scared of over or under estimating.

Check it after 1 hour, but leave yourself some time in case it needs more cooking time.
