I just got a check in the mail for $21.56- for free
How? every time I shop online, I first go to ebates.com and find the link to my store there. Then I get anywhere from 1% to 20% of my money back. They keep track and they send me a check every few months.
I did not want to post this until I actually got my check, but it works, it is true.
Right now, you can get an extra $10 gift card or $5 cash just for signing up.
http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?re.....3D%3D
Here is the link that will tell them who refered you. (I do get pints for this) or you can just go directly to ebates.com.
enjoy!

Been doing this for years and years. You do need to accumulate a minimum in order to get cash back, and they don't have all the stores, but... it works! And you can get your rebate deposited to your pay pal account which you can then transfer right to your bank - easier than having to deposit and cash a check!

(I have over $81 in there. I do a lot of my kids' clothing shopping on ebay, so I get money back plus good deals on second hand. Shoe shopping is through that too for me. I bought my laptop through a store which gave me more cash back, and it ended up being a better deal than less cash back but a slightly lower price to begin with. I don't mind referring people either if they PM me I don't want to SPAM the board.)

I just read the part of the rules that I was not allowed to post that link.
Mods: feel free to delete the link, sorry about that.

even better is evrewards.com which lists many cashback sites (including ebates). so your usually guaranteed to find at least 1 cash back site that has your store. or you can find the one that gives the most cash back.

Can't get credit retroactively. Most times when you return something, the credit will be removed or deducted, but not always; sometimes it stays there.

I get the same rebate from the home based business that I run. It's great, they send the check when you hit a certain amount. Got 2 already love it. I look at it as an extra percentage off so for example if I shop with Childrens Place they give 5% back on the site with a 15% coupon it comes out to 20% off.
BTW Childrens place has 25% off today.

I just signed up, and am currently on target.com with three pairs of shoes and a cute shirt in my shopping cart, and still browsing. We'll see if I end up purchasing anything but this ebates thing makes me want to buy stuff. And yes, I am that person that falls for advertising gimicks
