These are the only dessert I have made for myself since Pesach because I've been off white sugar and white flour and I love the benefits of oatmeal. I use whole oats though and whole wheat flour. Instead of sugar, I use agave syrup, maple syrup, molasses and a little brown sugar to sweeten. Then I throw in raw pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, sometimes sesame seeds too, unsweetened craisins and yellow raisins. They store in the freezer wonderfully, that is, if I don't get to them first.

These ARE amazing! I made some with raisins and some with choc chips and they both came out delicious and everyone who tasted them loved them! I also replaced most of the oil with applesauce in one of them and they were still great! They're a nice filling snack which freezes well just make sure not to overbake them.

It says juice or honey. Which one do you all suggest? Aren't they different consistencies? Also what kind of juice?

These look amazing...
To those who made them, did you use honey or juice? And if juice, which type?
Thanks.
