My poor ds has a terrible cold. It started last night. Runny nose. Very phlegmy coughing. Sneezing. Slight fever. I feel so bad for him. He's hoarse, can barely cry.
He's 10 months old. The Dr's office is closed! I dont know what to do. I gave him iboprofun it lowered the fever, but obviously didnt help anything else. Is there anything I can do/give him that will relieve his pain?!
If there isn't much, I just want to be reassured he'll be ok over shabbos. I hate going into shabbos with the fear c'v of it getting worse or/and not knowing what to do.
TIA

Just give him medicine every whatever amount of hours the bottle says, give him plenty of water and juice (vitamin c) and plenty of rest. Make sure not to give milk because it will worsen the phlegm. I hope he feels better!

You might want to go to the emerg room of hosp, if you can walk go tonite, otherwise call a Rov and describe the situation acurately..

I'm not a dr obviously, but if I see the fever goes down with medication, I don't worry as much.
