Mastercard has a program called overwhleming offers (oo) where credit card holders can win some very good deals. These usually come in the form of rebates off your credit card statement. For instance. Todays OO is 100$ off 200$ you spend at Macys. SO if you win the offer, you buy 200$ worth of Macy's items and then your credit card only gets charged 100$. If you win the offer you are not obligated to use it.
I have gtten a few offers and have been pretyt happy with them. Just make sure to follow the instructions for the offer exactly (click through the OO site to go to the retailer, no extra coupons..)
AMEX has a similar offer called "daily wish"
