My 2-month-old got quite a few shots yesterday. I was prepared for him to be extra kvetchy, up through the night... (I'm happy he wasn't, especially because I have the flu and am not feeling well myself!) but he slept much more than usual, and he's acting real lethargic even when he's up. My mother said to make sure he's not dehydrated, but he's never been like this before, so I'm assuming it's just from the shots. Is this a normal reaction?

ETA: he has been having wet diapers, so I dont think hes dehydrated

Wwent through the same with my baby a month ago. It was scary bc she slept and slept and slept. I was so nervous, I couldn't relax and get some (much needed) extra rest myself. After 2 days she was back to herself. Sorry to hear you have the flu! Feel better!

the SAME exact thing is going on with me. 2- month old dd got a bunch of shots yesterday and now she is sleeping A LOT. She also has wet diapers and is waking for feedings, but its making me nervous. and I got a stomach bug too so I really sympathize.
my mom said its normal

My baby was the same. Very sleepy and lethargic with low fever but eating OK. I think it's normal.

I would double check with the Doctor and hear what he says.
