hi,im traveling with a baby and need to gate check my stroller. I bought a bugaboo transport bag to keep my stroller from getting scratched. Anyone ever tried gate checking with the bugaboo transport bag or another protective case? do they allow it? its quite large. I plan on wheeling my daughter to gate and then placing stroller in the bag and gate checking it.

I don't know about that stroller or case, but I've brought the graco duo glider, which is large. They put it underneath, so I don't think size is a big deal.

I've used our Phil and Teds transport bag tonnes of times with no problem gate checking. It's awesome because you can stuff all the accessories (I.e. rain cover) inside!

according to the airlines, you're sopposed to use the bag. they've broken 2 of my maclarens over the years. when I called to complain and ask for some type of refund, they said unless it's in a traveling bag they are not responsible for breaking it! I was shocked bec. I dont' remember ever seeing anyone put their stroller into a bag.
so, it's a great idea! I'm tired of having my strollers cracked in half.
