This is probably the wrong forum, I just couldn't think of where else to post.
Would someone mind explaining to me what a mashpia is? I see references to it all over here, but never heard the term before and am wondering what it is.

I guess that thread of mine has caused a minor commotion - maybe I'll be ignored less around here from now on.
