Hi,
I'm lookig for any advice.
I think my 3 year old daughter has a vaginal yeast infection. She showed me her private part last night, and there was some white discharge. I've just gotten over an infection myself so I am very familiar with what it looks like.
Is there some way she could have caught it from me? I am grossed out and upset just htinking about that as I was very careful with handwashing etc.
And how can it be treated?
I'll be taking her to the Dr. later on today, but I would like to have some knowlege before I go. I've googled and haven't really found much helpful information.
As a background, she has been fully toilet trained for a while now, but lately has been having little accidents where she pee's a little in her underwear because she is too preoccupied to go to the toilet, so this could have something to do with it.
Thanks,
M
