so I am culinary challenged and I want to make hamburgers tonight (I bought the preformed ones)
can u give me step by step detailed instructions, including cooking method (ie: bake, broil, fry) please?- don't assume I will know anything.
asap so that my dh will have supper at a normal hour.... tia!

Mix chopped meat with onions and spices and shape burgers--or use pre-made burgers. Preheat oven to 350* F and bake uncovered on an ungreased jelly roll pan (or other pan with sides) for 20 minutes. Flip them over and bake them on the other side for another 15-20 minutes, or until they are done.

so if the burgers r preformed, do I add spices on top? which ones? when I said exact steps I wasn't kidding

1/4 tsp. salt, dash of black pepper, if you have fresh garlic add a few crushed teeth, if you dont have fresh add 2 dashes garlic powder, if you bake it I like to add 2 tb. may. it keeps it nice and moist.

I never bought the ready made ones, but I think those are meant to be grilled (or baked) like that. No spices are necessary, though you could spread some barbaque sauce on top of them before baking and again when you flip them to add flavor.

You could always make a small slit in middle to check if it's ready.

As they get near done, the oil will sizzle more loudly. Don't let then get black.

it seems to me that u need to get a feel 4 it 2 cook it right... ok, I'll give it a whirl. if it bombs 2nite, there r always sandwiches as a backup....
