My sister in law sent me this:
To all my dear friends - thank you so much for all your tefilos, mitzvos & support.

Please spread the word:

Thank G-d the MRI looks very good. They might have to do more stuff, but they are hoping not to have to do more. They are hoping that he will just have to recover & then go in for periodic MRIs to watch it.

Thank you all so much for your tefilos.

Tehilim - Hashem save! May the King answer on the day we call.

Yochana

o all our dear friends-thank you!!!!!!

Please, please, please spread the word!!!!!!! Take AY off ALL TEHILIM
lists.

Baruch rofei cholim!
Blessed is Hashem / G-d Who Heals the sick!
Baruch shomaiah tefila!
Blessed is Hashem Who hears prayers!
Hodu laHashem ki Tov! Ki l'olam chasdo!
Praise Hashem for He is good! His kindness endures forever!

We have received an official passak / Torah ruling to:

please take Avraham Yaakov Ben Yochana Miriam OFF ALL TEHILIM LISTS.

Baruch Hashem / Thank G-d, Hashem has heard all of our prayers & answered us
favorably:

1) HE IS BETTER & HOME - We have left the hospital & he is at home now
resting & recovering from the surgery.

2). NO MORE TREATMENTS! -
The Drs. have decided not to do any further treatments at this point. They
will watch him with periodic MRIs & b'ezras Hashem (with G-d's help), just
like many, many of their patients, G-d willing the little bit left of the
tumor, which is a low grade, level 1, benign tumor, will not grow at all &
will not cause any trouble. B'ezras Hashem he will grow up to be a true Ben
Torah & live a very long life filled with Torah, mitzvos, yiras Shomayim,
ahavas Yisroel, & simcha, thanks to all of your prayers.

3) HE FEELS LIKE AN ESROG - Just like we need an esrog / citron fruit to do
the mitzvah of waving the arbah minim / 4 species on sukkot, sometimes we
need a catalyst to help us do more mitzvos & become closer to G-d. Although
my Avraham Yaakov is not so pleased with all the pokes or medicines or itchy
scalp after surgery, I believe that he really feels privileged to be the one
that has helped cause so much Torah learning, mitzvos, prayers, & closeness
to G-d.

4. STAY STRONG -KEEP THE INSPIRATION - Hashem has heard all our prayers
from all around the world, He has seen the huge amount of chessed /
kindness that the Jewish community has showered upon us, He has seen people
working together in shalom / peace, & the tzedakah that has been given by
many. Thank you all for all the bracha / blessing that you have all caused
to enter the world because of your prayers, Torah & mitzvos. Our gratitude
to everyone knows no bounds. As we mentioned, Avraham Yaakov's name should
be removed from Tehilim lists because he is out of danger, thank G-d!
Yet, many of us have grown tremendously by this test that Hashem has given
to us. We have learned more Torah, said more prayers, & done more chessed /
kindness, so that Hashem should decree that this little sweet 8 year old boy
should be healed. I myself, believe that I have said more Tehilim in the
past week than in the past 8 years.
Therefore, out of gratitude to Hashem, & in the merit that Avraham Yaakov
will completely recover & that he will be able to return to normal activity
very soon, as well as a zechus / merit for all sick people in klal Yisroel
to get better, for the safety of our brothers & sisters in Israel, & for
Moshiach to come soon, perhaps we can try to just keep a little of the great
spiritual levels that we have gained through this difficult period. Perhaps
by using our extra few minutes here or there to learn a little extra Torah
or say a little more prayers or Tehilim, keeping a small tehilim or Torah
book or shiur / Torah speech on I-pod with us when waiting at the bank, or
in carpool, or in the grocery line, or whatever other little things we have
been doing, we can continue to elevate ourselves & the world, & shower
blessings on the Jewish People. Let us take the beautiful inspiration of
Jews all over the world learning & praying together for this little boy - &
let us keep some of that closeness with Hashem that we have achieved. Let's
keep working together in peace with & for our fellow Jewish brethren.

Again, thank you all so much for all your powerful prayers & support. And
may all cholim / sick people have such a super speedy recovery as this one
was. Wow! 1 1/2 weeks & we're already back home!

Thank you with all our heart!

The Frieds

Please, please spread this message so that his name will be taken off all
Tehilim lists around the world & so that the name of Hashem / G-d will be
glorified for the kindness He has done for us so quickly!

Ana Hashem, aneinu b'yom karainu - Please Hashem / G-d answer us on the day
we call!

( Hopefully this is my last group note, as AY is so much better!!!! Baruch
Hashem!!!)

Thank you!

Actually another p'sak was made to say Tehillim for 2 more weeks. He has fluid in his brain that needs draining and they are hoping not to have to put in a permanent shunt so please say Tehllim for 2 weeks from today. Avraham Yaakov Ben Yochana Miriam.

Dear Friends,

For the next 2 weeks or so, Please, please, please daven / pray for my:
Avraham Yaakov Ben Yochana Miriam.

We received a passak / Jewish legal ruling, that he should be put on Tehilim lists & mishabairach lists for the next 2 weeks or so.

He is doing very good & in very good spirits. They have drained the excess fluid build up & his brain has reexpanded back into place. He is not having any headaches. They will probably take the tube out of his head on Shabbos & send him home on Sunday. AY is doing really good!

Now is the time for tefilos / prayers. The best outcome, please G-d, will be that his brain settles & readjusts & that there is no more fluid build up. Then, nothing else would have to be done for now, except watch the tumor with periodic MRI's.

If, Heaven forbid, the fluid keeps coming back, they will have to look further for a cause & they may need to a) put in a permanent shunt, or b) go back in to get a little more of the tumor out, or c) do a low level of kimo to shrink the tumor.

Please G-d, we are hoping that none of the above will be necessary, & that it will settle back on it's own.

Please daven that Hashem will lead us down the right path to what is truly good for Him, for us, & for all of klal Yisroel.
From Tehilim / Psalms:
Yoshaiv b'seiser elyon
Whoever sits in the refuge of the Most High

B'tzail shkai yislonon
In the protective shade of the Almighty he shall dwell.

Omar laHashem:
I will say of Hashem:

machsi um'tzudasi
He is my Refuge & my Fortress

Elokai evtach bo!
my G-d, I will trust in Him!
(Tehilim/Psalms 91: 1-2)

Lo tira mipachad layla;
You shall not fear the terror of night;

Maichaitz Yauf yomam.
nor of the arrow that flies by day.
(Tehilim / Psalms 91:5)

As you can tell, I just keep listening to the Diaspora Yeshiva Band's beautiful songs from Tehilim / psalms, to give me strength.

Please spread this e-mail to daven for my son, as there are many peoples' addresses that I don't have.
