Is it worth my effort to train my almost 3 yr old boy now right before pesach, if we are going away?
I'm just concerned that with a flight and running from 1 bubby then to the other, will mess him up and he'll end up regressing.
should I just wait until we get back home and try after pesach?
(Then he'll be almost at his birthday)

No. don't add stress to your travel plans by trying to potty train now. your little boy is approaching the age that if left to his own devices he will self train w/o a hitch. that has been my experience.

I wouldn't do it right before a trip either.

Besides, then you find yourself running, running, running to find a bathroom in an unfamiliar place, especially in those first few weeks after they're trained. Diapers are SOOOOO much easier when travelling!
