I find that it takes around 24 hours at room temperature to defrost. You can probably speed that up by soaking it in warm water and changing the water frequently.

K so I defrosted the cabbage, but does it make sense that after being in the refrigerator for a few days that the cabbage is very limp and soft and watery? Please help!
