A little different than what you have in the house but incredible and easy recipe.
Fettuccini Alfredo
1 pkg fettuccini pasta cooked and drained
1 large onion diced
8 oz mushrooms (can or sliced fresh -I hate mushrooms so I don't even use them)
8 oz sour cream
4 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Saute the mushrooms and onions until soft
add sour cream, milk and cream cheese. Simmer over low flame till creamy. Season with garlic, salt and pepper.
Combine with pasta and serve warm

easiest recipe ever and so so good. dh is always asking me to make it for him.
2 c heavy cream
2/3 c Parmesan cheese
garlic
salt
pepper
heat heavy cream in pan let bubble really lightly for 20 min. add in lots of garlic a little salt and some pepper.
after 20 min add in the Parmesan cheese and let cook on flame for another minute. poor sauce over cooked noodles and finito. really good. makes enough sauce for one pound. u can sautee mushrooms and add into recipe.

Kraft foods has a very simple recipe and it's simple to make Cholov Yisroel (I'm OOT, so not all ingred are easily accessible)
8 oz cream cheese
4 oz parmesan (I just use 3.5 ox Haolam bottle)
1 stick margarine or butter
1/2 c milk
8 oz fettuccine (I use 1 full box)
cook noodles and strain
mix ingredients in pot on low until smooth
add fettuccine and toss lightly
serve with additional parmesan cheese, if desired (I save part of bottle to shake on top)
can add veg if desired (never tried or my kids won't touch)
