I put in a new bathroom in my basement several years ago, and used Eliezer Naftali for the job. I had several people down for estimates. He was the lowest price, and did a great job. I also liked the fact that he did little extras for me without tacking on extra charges - his price was inclusive and generous.

It also makes a difference where you actually get the tiles, so shop around! I got a great deal from asset tile, by getting a really nice tile that they had gotten a huge shipment of and were selling at a closeout price.

Hatzlacha!

Ideal Tile down route 9 has closeouts on tiles, you can get very nice tiles there at a great price.

I found really nice tile for $1.99 / sq ft for the floor, and $2.25 for wall. I think that is a good price.
Chayalle, I assume the bathroom held up well?
Also, do you have his number?

It's six years already, and still holding up. I have to say, it's downstairs so use is not as heavy as the rest of the house. But I have plenty of company and it has held up.

Does he do nice, clean work? I will be tiling the floor, walls and ceiling.
I called him for an estimate; He will be coming down tomorrow.

I tiled the floor and walls, but not the ceiling. It's beautiful.

In fact I was originally going to do the walls only 3/4 way up, and he persuaded me to do it all the way up as it's much nicer. He didn't charge me more for the work (one of the things I meant when I said he gave me extras) though it did cost me more for the tiles. I'm really glad I did because it really is nice.

In my upstairs bathroom, there's ceiling tile over the bath area, and two years ago he retiled it for me as the originals (which came with the house) were coming off.

I've had him do several jobs in my house and have been very satisfied. He did work for my SIL - that's how he came to me.
