I normally buy my meat for Shabbos on Thursdays, but this week my schedule forced me to go today. Can I keep a whole chicken in the fridge from today (Weds) until Friday? Because of how I prepare the chicken after it cooks in the soup I can't make my soup until Friday afternoon. No chance of making it earlier. Thanks.

Yes, it will be fine. I've left it in the fridge for that long & it wasn't a problem.

2 days is the limit, so as others have said, no problem.
